Kasparov vs Topalov 1999

This video is brought to you courtesy of the webmaster at chessworld himself, Kingscrusher.

This game features one of the greatest King hunts of all time, but was it merely just superb home preparation in a very theoretical game?

Preparation? No - originality at the board.

I like to think so also T, I know some think otherwise though. I think the depth of it is quite staggering, one of the reasons why Kasparov is my 'all time greatest'.

Kasparov would never prepare for the Pirc in any depth, let alone that kind of depth, it's completely implausible; and anyway he belts out preparation when he's got it and has no poker face. People who believe otherwise presumably think all post72 GM games are prearranged and the like...

Wasn't even sound, anyway.
